Policies



Shipping Policy:

 

DiscountMountainSoftware.com ships packages every business day (Monday through Friday).  Delivery times are also based on business days. Saturday delivery is an expedited option where available; this shipping method can only be selected on Friday. Most orders received before 3:00 pm (MST) will be sent the same day.  However, we can make exceptions - if you need your product shipped after 3:00 pm (MST), please call us to confirm we can ship out your order.

 

Free Ground Shipping includes all 50 states, including Alaska, Hawaii and APO boxes.  We ship using either US Mail or FedEx.   Free Ground usually takes 3 – 5 business days.  Expedited Shipping options are available for an additional cost.

Canada shipping is available for an additional fee and is shipped via FedEx only.  Please contact us for all other international orders and shipping options.   International shipping fees do not reflect any customs clearance or taxes that may be imposed by your country. If additional charges apply, it will be the responsibility of the receiver.

 

Open License Purchase Policy:

 

For all Open License products the end-user must be located in the United States. Open Government purchases must also be able to submit further proof if required. Unfortunately we cannot accept or process any orders that do not meet this criteria.

 

Credit Card Policy:

 

We accept US and Canadian issued credit cards.  DiscountMountainSoftware.com will not charge your credit card until your order has been shipped, even though it may be authorized by the credit card company.  Please provide us with the billing address on file with your credit card if different from the shipping address.  If the information we receive does not match what the bank has on file for the credit card, we may have to contact you or the issuing bank to verify your order.  This could delay the processing of your order.

 

PayPal Policy:

 

We accept both Canadian and US PayPal accounts.  US based PayPal accounts must have confirmed addresses.  We will ship only to the address showing on the PayPal transaction page.

 

Payment by check or money order:

 

This option is only available for orders billing and shipping within the United States.  If you wish to pay by check or money order, please send us a print screen of the item you are wishing to purchase, the shipping information and phone number along with the check or money order.  Please note that we cannot ship your order until your check has cleared.

 

 Corporate Net 30 Terms Policy:

 

We accept Net 30 Terms for government and corporations that meet the below conditions: 

1. Your company has been in business for at least 2 years.

2. You are in good terms with Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. 

3. You are in good standing with your Financial Institution.

Product Availability Policy:

 

Most of DiscountMountainSoftware.com's products will ship the same business day, but there are occasional exceptions.  Because of changes in the market, products may not always be in stock or available.  DiscountMountainSoftware.com does its best to update the website as to current availability and estimated arrival dates.  Some items may require a few extra days to get to our warehouse before they can be shipped to you.  Please keep in mind our discounted pricing is hopefully worth the wait.  In some limited cases, DiscountMountainSoftware.com may substitute the item you ordered with an equivalent or greater item. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time.

International Order Policy:

 

For international orders DiscountMountainSoftware.com accepts bank to bank wire. For information on bank to bank wire transfers please contact sales@discountmountainsoftware.com.  Please provide your shipping address and the item or items you are interested in buying for a precise quote including shipping.

Software Return Policy:

 

Cancellations:

For order cancellations please contact us at 866-641-2563 prior to your order being emailed or shipped. We will be happy to cancel your order and offer you a full refund.

If your order has shipped or your product information has been emailed before you contact us your order will be subject to the normal return process detailed below.

Returns:

We understand that on occasion you may need to return a product. Please read this section carefully to find out about our return process.

Please note:

If the return conditions detailed in the sections below are not met, your return may be rejected or delayed.

You are responsible for return shipping and may use the shipping service of your choice but we do recommend that you use a shipping method that includes tracking, insurance, and/or confirmation of delivery as we are not responsible for lost packages.

We strongly recommend that you do not reject deliveries or send items back “Return to Sender” as this can delay delivery by a month or more.

In an effort to keep our prices as competitive as possible all returns will be subject to a 3% restocking fee with a minimum fee of $5.

Shipping charges are not refundable.

Funds from accepted returns are typically available within 2 weeks of receipt.

Returns for physical products can be accepted under the following conditions:

Your order was placed less than 30 days prior to the return date.

All products to be returned are in their original undamaged, unopened condition and do not show signs of tampering.

All components of the product are present, e.g., product keys, and packaging materials.

The product has not been activated. The activation process creates a unique digital signature between the software and your hardware rendering the software unsellable.

The return must include a copy of your invoice with a note explaining the reason for the return.

Returns of downloadable products can be accepted under the following conditions:

Your order was placed less than 30 days prior to contacting us.

The product key has not been activated. The activation process creates a unique digital signature between the software and your hardware rendering the software unsellable.

All emails including product key information have been deleted.

Prices and Availability:

 

The prices and the availability of our products are subject to change at any time. Discount Mountain Software has the right to cancel any order at our discretion. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to Discount Mountain arising from any product sold on the site shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall Discount Mountain, its directors, officers, employees or other representatives be liable for special, indirect, consequential or punitive damages related to product sold.

 

 

Terms of Sale:

 

1.       The sale and delivery of the goods listed on this invoice are subject to DiscountMountainSoftware.com’s (“DMS” or “Seller”) standard sales terms and conditions listed on DMS’s website in effect at the time the goods are ordered. Any variance from those terms and conditions will be effective only if agreed to in writing by DMS prior to product ordering.

2.       Buyer’s acceptance of these terms and conditions shall be indicated by any of the following, whichever first occurs: (a) Buyer’s making of an offer to purchase Product from DMS; (b) Buyer’s written acknowledgement hereof; (c) Buyer’s acceptance of any shipment or any part of the terms specified for delivery (the “Goods”); or (d) any other act or expression of acceptance by Buyer.

3.       Seller is not liable for any incidental, consequential or special damages arising from shipping delays, system downtime, loss of data, interest, loss of use, lost profits or wages or expenses arising from product malfunction whether or not Seller knew such damages might be incurred. Seller’s liability is in all cases limited to refunding the lower of the purchase price or the resale value of the goods at the time or return, at Seller’s option. Seller will not refund amounts paid for services actually rendered.

4.       Invoices are payable on receipt unless other terms are negotiated and noted on the invoice. By accepting delivery of goods, Buyer agrees to pay the invoiced cost for those goods, and agrees to be bound to these contract terms. No acceptance may vary these terms unless specifically agreed to in writing by DMS.

5.       DMS will accept return of non-conforming goods, only when returned in original undamaged, unopened condition and do not show signs of tampering. All components of the product are present, e.g., product keys, and packaging materials and the product has not been activated. See our Software Return Policy for details.

6.       In the case of non-conforming goods, buyer agrees that any disputes shall be expressed to DMS before action is taken.  Buyer agrees not to dispute or charge-back payment without first informing DMS of your intent to do so and allowing reasonable time for DMS to remedy any product issues that arise or issue a refund.
