Norton Ghost 15 is one of the industry’s most advanced PC backup and recovery
solutions. Windows 7 compatible Norton Ghost 15 now offers 25G and 50G Blu-ray
Disc support. This version also introduces a new cold imaging feature that
images computers without installing the product. In addition, Norton Ghost uses
Symantec’s powerful ThreatCon indicator to automatically back up PCs in the
event of a severe security threat.
•Backup options
Norton Ghost 15 offers a variety of backup options, such as scheduled, manually
started, or upon an event trigger, like a new installation or sudden increase in
data storage. Norton builds in compression and encryption features to minimize
storage space and secure sensitive files. Ghost now supports Windows 7 and its
BitLocker™ technology.
•Recovery features
Once your backups are created, Norton Ghost offers sophisticated recovery
options in the potentially catastrophic event of data loss. The software offers
offsite backup and recovery via FTP, a method commonly employed by large
businesses who know that backups are only useful if they're accessible. Ghost 15
includes version support for disk images made with Ghost 10, 12, or 14.

Whether you want to image your entire hard disk or just save important files and
folders, both options are available within Ghost. Integration with Symantec
ThreatCon can automatically trigger a backup when Internet threats become
