How long will it take for my download to be delivered?
After placing your order you will receive a basic order confirmation. A
second email will be sent with the link to download the program and the
activation code. Your download will be processed the same business day if you
place your order before 3pm MST. If you place your order after 3pm MST your
download will be processed the following business day.

How do you ship?
We ship either US Mail or Fed Ex for the United States. For Canada and Puerto
Rico we ship only FedEx.
What is the difference between Academic and Retail products and do I need
credentials to purchase Academic?
Academic software includes the same software and packaging as the regular
retail versions but with a label "Academic" on the box and is "Academically
priced." The software is not limited or different from the commercial version.
Manufacturers offer Academic software to Students and Teachers at discounted
prices, but again, the software is not different in any way than the Commercial
DiscountMountainSoftware does not require any proof that you will be using
academic software for academic use nor does the manufacturer. It is on the honor
system between you and the manufacturer.
What is the difference between Microsoft OEM and Retail?
Microsoft OEM is a packaging type and includes the installation disc(s),
Certificate of Authenticity, and product key code(if needed).
Microsoft OEM is different from Full Retail in the following ways:
- Microsoft OEM does not come in a Retail Box
- There are no printed manuals included
- The software cannot be transferred to another computer (even if the
original computer breaks)
- The software is not eligible for free technical support from the
manufacturer. Help files can usually be found on the disc and printed out.
- Microsoft OEM software is the same software as Retail and can be
upgraded, it just comes in different packing.
What does it mean by Branded OEM?
Branded software will have a HP or Dell logo on the disc, but it will
function on any computer that meets Windows 7 requirements. The actual software
is the same as any OEM software
What is the difference between a User CAL and a Device CAL?
With the User CAL, you purchase a CAL for every user who accesses the server
to use services such as file storage or printing, regardless of the number of
devices they use for that access. Purchasing a User CAL might make more sense if
your company employees need to have roaming access to the corporate network
using multiple devices, or from unknown devices, or simply have more devices
than users in your organization. With a Device CAL, you purchase a CAL for every
device that accesses your server, regardless of the number of users who use that
device to access the server. Device CALs may make more economic and
administrative sense if your company has workers who share devices, for example,
on different work shifts.
